intalling these coil on plug kits is very easy. all it takes is an hour or so and a small screwdriver and 8mm wrench and if you have a tower brace a 1/2 inch socket with rachet. first remove the tower ... brace if you have one. then pop off the intottake cover and coil covers. the trickiest part is getting the wire connectors off the coils . first use the small screw driver to pull up the colored keepers then insert the screwdriver on the coil side of the connector to release the connector from the coil , use a small flat blade screwdriver and push down on the end of the connector and it will slide right off . use the 8mm socket to take off the bolt that holds the connector to the head then pull it out. do this eight times then install the new accel coils on in reverse order. i used wd -40 on the plug side of the new coils to ease installation .i havent put it on the dyno yet but will in the future to see what gains there were . The 1964 Dodge 426 Hemi Lightweight produced over 500 bhp (373 kW). This "top drag racer" had an aluminium hood, lightweight front bumpers, fenders, doors and lower valance, magnesium front wheels, lightweight Dodge van seat, Lexan side windows, one windshield wiper, and no sun visors or sound deadening. Like other lightweights of the era, it came with a factory disclaimer: Designed for supervised acceleration trials. Not recommended for general everyday driving because of the compromises in the all-round characteristics which must be made for this type of vehicle .
